The Balady Box is a celebration of Yemeni art, culture, and the tradition of burning bukhoor.
**PLEASE READ CAREFULLY** Inside the Balady Box you will find everything you need for a bukhoor session, including:
- Sa'ada Mabkhara: These incense burners are handcrafted from natural soapstone carved out of the mountains of Razih in Sa’ada. These mabkharas will spark curiosity and admiration and look beautiful during a burning session. Because these are handmade by people (and not by machines), there will be some variation in their sizes (approx 6"x4") and designs. Consider it an extremely rare, one-of-a-kind piece! ($58)
-
Surprise Ma'waz - These ma'waz textiles are individually designed and hand-loomed by artisans in Lahj who inherited the craft from their ancestors. Traditionally, Yemeni men wear ma'waz as wraparound skirts. You can wear it traditionally by wrapping it around the waist, use it as a shawl, or decoratively draped across your bed or couch for a cultured touch. Size: 77"x 44" Please note: each Ma’waz varies in color and style, consider it a rare, one-of-a-kind piece! ($105)

This will gently raise the temperature of the incense so that you can enjoy a beautiful, clean aroma. Hand Wash mica plates with cool water to reuse. Set includes 3 mica plates. ($5)
