Reusable mica plates: In Japan, mica sheets have been used to heat incense rather than burn it for hundreds of years. Using tongs, carefully place the mica plates on freshly lit charcoal with a thin layer of white ash. This will gently raise the incense temperature so that you can enjoy a beautiful, clean aroma. Hand wash mica plates with cool water to reuse. The set includes 3 mica plates.
